Obituary for Kristen Dianne Savage

Kristen Dianne Savage passed away suddenly at her home in Lillington, North Carolina on Sunday, February 13, 2018. She was born December 30, 1967 in Pascagoula, MS to Emily Dickson Savage and Jospeh A. Savage, Jr.
She was a graduate of Pascagoula High School and then got her associates degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She went on to the University of Southern Mississippi, where she graduated with an electronics engineering degree, always being on the President’s and Dean’s lists. She did co-op with Stennis Space Center doing underwater sonar. After graduation and several years at Stennis, she went to work for World Com then MCI, and was working for Verizon Business as a second level security professional in Carey, N.C. since 2000.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alf and Bonita Dickson and Joe and Hazel Savage, her father Joseph A. Savage, Jr., and her brother, Michael A. Savage.
She is survived by her mother, Emily Savage Bond; step-father, Earl K. Bond; sisters, Sandra Savage Turner and Sharon Kay (Katie) Savage; nephews, J.D. Savage and Jason Turner; niece, Laura Savage; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her many animals she has had through the years, Sully, Tank, Peanut, and Mo.
She was a Methodist and had a wonderful, strong faith. She loved her family, her animals, and was a kind, giving, and caring person. Heaven truly has another angel.
She was brought home and laid to rest Monday, February 19, 2018 with a private service at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs, MS.
Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, in Esctawpa/Moss Point, MS is in charge of arrangements.
