Obituary for Henry Isaac Maki

Henry Maki, 87, of Moss Point, MS passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Pascagoula, MS. He was born November 3, 1931 to the late Andrew and Minnie Maki. He was a mail carrier for over 30 years and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He attended church every Saturday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Along with his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Maki, and two sisters, Mary McDonald and Catherine Pettis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Maki; son, Andrew Henry “Andy” (Paula) Maki; grandchildren, Jacob Andrew Maki and Hannah Marie Maki; nephew, Wayne Young; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Michel Rodriguez officiating.
