Obituary for Kenneth Gerald Smith

Kenneth Gerald Smith, 67, of Grand Bay, AL, formerly of Moss Point, MS, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Mobile, AL. Kenneth was born on April 4, 1950 in Union, MS to the late Joseph Crawford "J.C." and Adele Wolverton Smith. He was a veteran of the United States Army, where he had served during the Vietnam War. He was member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Grand Bay, AL where he attended faithfully with his brother.
He is survived by his brother, Joe Allen (Mildred B.) Smith; nephews, Chaim Allen Smith and Quenton Daniel Smith; aunts and uncles, Charles Lee (Betty) Wolverton, Willie Mae Malone, Cecil Matson, and Richard Yates (Eva Gene) Smith; along with numerous cousins and friends.
The visitation for Kenneth will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Grand Bay, AL. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Serene Memorial Gardens in Moss Point, MS.
Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, in Escatawpa/Moss Point, MS is in charge of arrangements.
